i mean if an srt4 (which usually gets from wat i see 11.0 to like a 13.0) can easily beat gsr spec r wat do hatches have (that in drag races) get 9.0 sec in a 1/4 mile drag race wat build do they have wat engine do they have to do that

I bet it's a pretty big build list. Alot of time and alot of money!

get your hatch making 700+ HP on any engine combo and it's possible to go that fast :wink:

haha sorry about that im new to this site i dont know how to post this in the drag section i just put post lol but thanks for the opinions and no i dont own an srt4 i own a hatch eg im just askin about the srt4 cuz my friend owns one and i was just doin research about it and im trying to figure out how i would be able to beat it lol

i have a b18b1 just a regular ls engine but i wanted to get a gsr spec r i found one for around 3500 so i just want to get ideas on a build for it or other builds and reliable one u know

Get 8:1 or 9:1 pistons, aftermarket rods, sleeve and bore your block, get new cams, valves, dual valve springs, cam gears, port and polish, GT35R turbo plus all the other turbo kit goodies, clutch, flywheel, better spark plugs, a good tune and the only thing your friend will see is your tailights in the distance after the smoke settles from your tires :thumb:

10psi t3t4 turbo ls will beat a srt4 either that or none of the 5 people with srt4s around here know how to drive

Really, drag is decently American
Its not favored in other country's
There for our power to weight is obviously smaller
Really you kinda have to know how to drive I guess
American cars are kinda lazy, hope someone gets what im sayin

I know what you are talking about. American cars are cruisers, big comfty heavy cars.

Eg's little cars with no cup holders but really fun to drive around :thumb:

Don't forget replace your trans with a spool and spend as much on tires as you spent on the damn engine.

Also all the safety equipment required when you begin running that fast.

My former roommate had a turbo H22 hatch with a spool in that time range but unfortunately blew the engine thanks to the lying-ass engine builder. I don't know if he still has the shell or not.
