b18c jdm gsr swap into eg si

got the car running pretty good, but it when i hit vtech it kicks out and then afterwards it sits at 1500 rpm and jumps down from there a few hundred rpm then back up to 1500 very quickly and vtech is out when i try to go through the gears... any help would be great

Do you have the right ecu and does it jump idle all the time and what year is the motor you put in

94 jdm b18 p72 ecu obd1. Into a 95 hatch si.

Only when the motor is hot or ive hit vtech
