I don't think thats possible you would run out of block to make it 84.5 mm bore someone chime in your better off with b20 vtec

as a reference...my head is basically same as urs.. B16A with adjustable cam gears and JDM B18C-R cams...bottom is a stock B20B.
pushes out 185whp on a dynojet...with about 18.xx kg/mm of torque.
others include S2 IM.. 70mm TB..SRI with HKS SPF...2.5" exhaust etc. tuned with a chipped ecu and VAFC

i dont think its bored, i think he's implying hes using an 89mm crank like an LS or B20 crank.
Why are yall using adjustable cam gears on stock cams?

mine came with the car when i bought it...im keeping it coz im planning on Toda C2
but yeah....a reputable tuner also advised to go back to stock cam gears if using stock cams.

i think the deck height is smaller on the b16 blocks so the only way you can run a b20 crank is if he has shorter rods. and the ls rods are too long for b16 block with b20 crank.
b20 block with a vtec head on the other hand would work. or ls/b20 crank and rods in a b18c block works.

bigpunn is correct, you cant use a LS/B20 ran in a B16A(1-1000000000) block.
OP - do you have any idea what you really have?

wow i just read that the b16b block deck height is the same as the b18c. its the only b16 with the same deck height.
so i guess it does work and it would be a monster. people make over 200whp on nice setups with cams. but i bet the torque is nice too

yeah its the same....B16B and B18C uses the same exact block... wats different is the internals of the block.
