Why are SPECIFCALLY B20bs, low end torque motors, is it because of smaller head and bore size , which then not enough power is being produced at higher speeds? or do they actually start loosing power/torque after they reach higher speeds ?


i'm not sure how to start researching this question, that's why i'm asking it.
i know i could look up the concept of a low end torque motor but im wondering more specifically about b20bs

so low compression from bigger bores = smaller hp ? this is the idea im developing without and real knowledge of how motors work. just minimal.

B20 considered as biggest bore and taller head when it comes to
stock engine. Their bores are large that can produce torques at
low rpm range. Reeving is limit as of course.
