rule number 1. All motor is never cheap.
Intake/header/Exhaust would probably get you a decent amount. Better cams and valvetrain will get you more with a proper tune. Thats as far as you will go for things that will bolt in without taking out your motor again. Intake manifold/TB and all those need to be port matched for best results. The list goes on and on.

If you want to gain horsepowers, with "low" costs, go turbo.
You can gain about 280 bhp safe, on a stock B16
Edit: if you're doing some bolt-on mods
go for this (just a advice)
* Skunk2 68mm Throttle Body
* Skunk2 PRO-Series Aluminum Intake Manifold
* Skunk2 Tuner STAGE 1 Camshafts (IN. 264* / 11.9 ; EX. 259* / 11.0)
* Skunk2 Tuner Series Valve Springs
* Skunk2 Tuner Series Titanium Retainers
* Skunk2 PRO Series Cam Gears (Blue, Titanium or Red)
You can always port the head, sleeve, hone, replace valves, pistons etc etc but then you're pumping in some real money...

dont waste your time on bolt ons go get a turbo kit. for the money you spend you will have so much more power and you can always get the bolt ons later. the b16 is a well built engine as is. bolt ons really wont net you the hp you are probably looking for. just keep the boost low untill you build the bottom end. 6-7 psi for longevity. on the other hand if you have a money tree and the cash to burn then bolt on to your hearts content. i would go skunk2 components for the valves, valve springs, retainers,stage 1 pro series cams,cam gears,intake manifold and throttle body. oh and get your self a nice emu like hondata s300 or if you have the cash aem has a vary vary nice unit.

He said he wanted an NA build. That rules out the turbo all together.
Intake manifold
Throttle Body
Cams
Cam gears
Valve springs
Retainers
Thinner head gasket
Hy-tech tri Y
Those are some good parts to get. its all depending on what goals you have. you can easily get 170+hp from your b16a.

I agree if the OP wants to go all motor he better open up that wallet and pray the mastercard that may reside in there has some room on it

x2 on the Bolt-ons. Bisimoto Cams are better if you will be Staying N/A, They where recommended to me a while back, After Reading into them, I can recommend nothing else.
If you make a N/A Build and want even more Power, You can always Run Nitrous as well, Get a Good Wet kit, as well as Good Tuning, And you can have safe extra power. Plus Nitrous Kits are alot cheaper then Turbo Kits, and you can choose when to run Nitrous. Theres not much good Nitrous Info on this site sadly, most will tell you to go Boost Instead, However
Here is good info on Nitrous.
