I know its not the best time to tell you and sorry if it sounds like telling you to suck eggs but when doing an egine swap you should always check if not change all the major service parts.

Oil filter
Stat
Cam belt
Altinator belt
power steering belt
I also recommend exhaust gastket, vtec, FICV and IACV gaskets too.

Hope this doesn't sound like me preaching to you as just meant as a pointer, hope it helps for next time too :thumb:

i also changed spark plugs and spark wires. my problem was that i had a dent in my oil pan and i wasn't getting the right pick-up, hence sputtering vtec.

You should always have an FPR, but if you didn't replace it during the swap, you may need an upgrade if your old one won't keep up.

K20's can use the stock fuel pump, there's no reason a b16 can't

yeah thats what I thought to. Plus like what was posted...the oem pump will handle some pretty big H-motors
