newbie to b series help

im gunna put a b16 in my sol and i was wondering how much a complete motor would cost in general, a complete long block. i just dont want to over pay and then find out and realize i got ripped off. and in american money

right around 3 grand give or take depending on the status of the motor and the stuff that comes with it.

thats for a full swap? because i just want the motor. just a long block no trans no nothing just the engine

You already have a tranny for the B16? Why would you not want one of the best trannys honda made?

yeah and i paid 2k for my full b16a swap axles and all.
