I was told that the b18b1 is a direct fit plug and play? Is this true? Or do I go by these guidelines:

*b18b1 block-(i say this block only because its the one I'm going with)

*b series tranny

*b-series shift linkage

*b-series axles

*b-series engine mounts

*P 75 ecu

Am I missing anything else and which one applies to me? :?

For a 92-95 civic you will need

B18b1 engine
B series tranny
rear B series T bracket
Both B series side mounts
B series axles
Correct ECU for the motor
B series shiftlinkage

You can use your current engine harness.

you pretty much have it right. though you just need the rear t bracket for a B not the actual mount.

Absolutely true about the T-Bracket, however depending on which manufacture you buy your mounts from you might actually get a rear mount like I did with the Hasport's as it come's as part of a set.

As for your ECU, it needs to be OBD1.
If you can't get the matching ECU for the swap, you could always buy a OBD1 ECU and have it socketed for Crome with the correct base map etc. :thumb: Also make sure you have the engine loom with the motor.

And you have just said the engine and gearbox. Distributor, starter motor, alternator, HT leads, power steering pump (if you want power steering that is) just in case you've missed it out of the budget :)

And get your shift linkage and stabilizer off of an integra as they work extremely well and also are good value for money.

all the best

just a note

if you use the 90-93 Half shaft you need to use the 90-93 style axles
if you use the 94-01 half shaft you need to use the 94-01 style axles

the 90-93 are female

the 94-01 are male
or vise versa
