#72318 Anybody outhere I need help with my swap.

I have a 94 eg si and all I have is the stock wire harness and no engine.
I was offered a 97 GSR swap not everyting included it's missing the stock wire harness. Now I know the basics of shift linkage, axels and motor mounts. Becuase everyone mentions it on their swap, but my questions are about the ECU's and Wiring system becuase I really haven't seen one with detail's

My questions are
1. Will I be able to use the eg's wire harness and what else need's to be added.
2. Since the GSR is an OBD2a and the eg is an OBD1 do I need a converter or is their a DIY instructions out their that I don't know about

3. The GSR's distributor is a driffernt plug form the EG's do I also need another conveter or can I just change the plug's, or rewire

#72321 YOu can use your current harness. You will just need to run some more wires. You will have to get a OBD1 Distributor, and might as well, try to get a oBD1 ecu too. It will make things much simpler.

I have seen in RYwire.com that they offer distibutor adapter's and ECU's converter's.Will that be cheaper, because ECU's and distributor's are really expensive

#72361 Yea, I guess it could be. I havent seen that stuff yet so I dont know for sure. But sense you already have the obd2 stuff, might as well use it.

#72377 A U.S. 96-01 integra engine wire harness is a MUST for this type of swap!
This is a key ingredient in getting an OBD2 engine to work in an OBD1 vehicle. The ever so clever Honda engineers were cool enough to make the US OBD2 Integra/Delsol engine wire harnesses backwards-compatible with OBD1 vehicles.
