there are several cams that i'm interested.... brian crower stage3, skunk2 pro stage3 and buddyclub stage5.... i've tried buddyclub stg5 in my friend's rex b16a... i can fell the power when the car is pulling on high reving... the cams is making wonders.... on the other hand i've heard feedback from some of my friends that brian crower stg3 cams are not making plenty of power... can anyone verify it???? hope to hear from all of you....

Is your entire valvetrain upgraded?? If not, I'd do that before cams.

yes of course.... planing to replace the cams and dual valve springs without the retainers.... so will it be safe to use oem retainers instead of aftermarket??? i notice that aftermarket retainers tend to wear off easily in a short period of time and has short life span.... couple of my friends blew off their motor because of aftermakket retainers failure...

I believe most of the higher stage cams come with recommendation of upgrading your entire valvetrain, including retainers. I highly recommend the Bisimoto Cams. A little pricey, but if you call him and talk to him he'll work with you and basically grind your cam to spec based on what you want to do with it.
