Civic EG

Alright im helping a buddy of mine with his crx. he's got a b16a to swap in and i was hoping you guys could help me with a list of everything he will need to complete the swap.

its a 90 Crx will be running N/A.

Help will be greatly appreciated Thanks to all.

that should be it. doing a swap myself but not that setup. same concept.

injector resistor box if you are doing the dpfi to mpfi swap

ive got someone telling me that stock mounts will carry the be just fine. clarification? thanks guys.

thats not right at all

that wont work go to ebay and buy the bseries swap mounts for a 88=91 civic/crx

b16 or b18 mounts they are all the same, have done both the b16 and b18 swap into a crx and civic ( of same gen) and they all work

so both d series and b series mounts will work on a crx with a b16a???

B and D Series mounts are totally different.

Get a mount kit off ebay, Or look into if 90-93 teg mounts will work. I know 90-93 teg seats drop right into ef's.

Make sure your Tranny is a cable tranny. If its not get a 90-93 Integra LS Cable Tranny via a Junkyard.

Depending on what engine you getting will depend on your ecu. If your getting the B16 SIR (obd0) then it will come with everything you need, Including cable tranny. If your importing/buying one of the internet they can give you the mounts you will need as well.

If your putting in the SiRII(OBD1, out of an EG), or a B16a3(OBD1/OBD2, Depends on year) out of a Delsol VTEC, or the B16a2(OBD2) out of the 99-00 Civic Si, you will need a Cable Tranny, and get an older OBD0 ECU, or get a jumper harness.

I would recommend checking out Sites like B20vtec, or EF Sites. There was another totally awesome Wagovan Site, Cant find it though. Tons of details on how to swap in B Series into the Wagovan.
