92 Civic won't fire up

- Thu Apr 16, 2009 6:30 pm #111063 Hi guys another problem :(. I've recently finished ripping my dash out and engine to re-spray the engine bay and everything, re-charged my battery, and plugged it all back in from where it came from

My problem is the car ticks over but wont fire up (lack of fuel possibly?). When i turn the key all the igniton lights come on but the engine light goes out like normal, there is no humming noise as if the fuel is being pumped.

I checked the fuse in the engine bay and it was blown, replaced it and my step dad said it was blowing when i turned the ignition off, any ideas?

- Thu Apr 16, 2009 8:38 pm #111083 sounds like you have a short in your wiring. Time to follow your wires and look for a short or something not hooked up to the right place. Not a fun job!
