#111667 So, I swapped in a b16a second gen in my hatch, and the left-hand axle wont go in all the way. I am using the 94-01 gsr axles, with a female halfshaft, and the axle isnt going in all the way. It probably has 1/4 inch out, and it is causing my shit to vibrate at around 20-30 mph. i already tried knocking it in with a hammer and it still doesn't want to go, Any ideas what to do about this?

#111671 hmmm should go in but im not sure are you talking trans or the where it goes into the hub? if its not going in all the way and your driving around with it im thinking you screwed up the axel a bit... id take it back and get another just to be on the safe side and then if its the trans side no way your gonna hit it good enough with a hammer. my rule of thumb is to slide it out just a hair where its still splined up and then shove it in a couple time and it usually pops right in.....if its the hub area id take a wire wheel and clean up the splined then grease it up a bit and it should slide it. hope this helps a little but either way your gonna need to take it out again always go from the trans to the hub not the hub to the trans....

#111723 My fault for not elaborating. Its the drivers side axle where it goes into the halfshaft, the axles are brand new, and the halfshaft has around 60k on it. It almost seems like something is too long or too short. the axle ring is clipped in the halfshaft, but there is still enough room for the axle to move just a little bit, and its causing a vibration at around 20-30 mph. then its still there, just alot less noticible.
Thanks for the help. anyone else has this problem before?
