hello guys i need sum input i baught a 93 civic with a jdm b16 w\gsr tranny and a pr3 running the setup i have benn driving it for 2 weeks now and i can hit 8000 rpms all day..........but today i was late for work and i let the vtech get me out but when i hit 7400 rpm it hit rev!!!!!!! WTF????!!!!! just seeing waht help i can get thanks guys!!!!!!

ok 10 people have read my question and nothing wow i might be a loser after all!!! c'mon i need help here dont know if its the ecu telling me there is an issue but no codes to be read im lost!!!!

i read it but didnt know the solution sorry. the only thing i do know is that its called VTEC not VTECH, they make childrens toys...

just sucks thats 500 to 700 rpms im not getting and about 8 to 10 hp lost not cool!!!!!

could try unpluggin the battery to reset the ECU. check your wires and such while your under the hood... see if that helps
