#10157 so i got home from vacation came to work the next day started checking out the local junkyards websites and i found this b16, came out of a 94 del sol vtec....103k miles, complete motor minus distrbuter axles were also included. the guy wanted 950 i said i had 840 in my pocket(which was a lie i had another 300 dollers in my other pocket ahaha  ) he thought about it for a second and he was like how you gonna get it to your house i said i got a truck outside he said ok and started making the reciete ahaha but yeah he said the motor ran great b4 they took it out. car was owned by a older guy good compression results all across drove perfect so i bought it.

I havent touched it since i got it so tommarrow i plan to clean it and take it apart and start working on it. I plan to replace all the gaskets, seals, main bearings rod bearings replace water pump,t-belt,t-belt tentioner repaint the valve cover upgrade the cams and intake manifold.ill take some pics of it tommarrow while im cleaning it.

#10242 I got ones of those lines from the guy I got my motor from. Im not putting on a new head, since the leak down test I did after the compresion test I did FAIL with flying colors. 70 PSI across the board on the compression and almost 100% leakdown from the intake and exhaust valves.

Nice list :)
What I'm gonna do more than that when I get my new engine, late this year...
New pistonrings, OEM
Type R oilpump, OEM
Clean the cilinderhead, and have the valves refitted (I don't know how to call it in English, but you regrind the valves to their seats, so you don't have any loss in compression).

Also, a Skunk2 pro series intake manifold and a Hondata headshield, a larger t/b and that combination is very, very helpfull gaining HP ;)

Maybe you should take a look into doing that as well :)

#10444 ok ppl yesterday i started working on my motor i first took off the valve cover put some paint stripper on it and let it sit for about 10 to 15 min b4 i started scrapping the old paint. the old paint wasnt in really good condition it started chipping badly so i was like fuck it might as well repaint it so i did that and scraped off most of the paint but theres still lil bits of paint here and there
when i took off the valve cover everything looked pretty clean, the timming belt looks maybe not even a yr old all the belts look like they are pretty new which kinda made me feel better about the motor because it looks like the previous owner took pretty good care of it. so then i removed the p.s pump and the ac from the motor and i started to take off the nuts off the exhaust manifold to take them off so i can clean the motor.
today i plan on removing the headers from the motor.... i got 3 cans of carb cleaner soak it down and clean it real good. ill take some b4 and after pics of the motor how it is now and after i clean it.

anyways heres the pics i told u guys i would take not the best pics cuz i took them with my sidekick3 camra real quick but i promise ill get better ones 2day.
