b16 engine 170,000 miles??????????

hey guys was intrested in buying a b16 engine from my friend its done 170k and he says it runs good like new still i dont know about these engines herd they are bullet proof was wondering what you experienced civic owners would think any info appreciated cheers, Nathan-UK.

hmm.. if its not leakin/burnin oil i'd say its good to go. if he's not chargin much definitely get it... can always re-build.

X2 honda makes good long lasting motors almost like a Volvo use to....before ford took over....

thanks guys the guy wants 300 pounds for it about 700 dollars?? but with everything for the conversion gearbox sensors axels shafts just no ecu or loom

thats deals.... i'd buy it for that just for the tranny, and build the motor!!! get that shit!! not gonna find a price like that many places.

agreed and ecu's are easy to find for a decent price and the wire loom heck that too is pretty easily found.
I wish i could of found something liek that around here for that price i would have bought that then and there instead of putting money into my D15 mini me....
