You know how I combat that chance Mike? I don't drink, I had one shot when I was 15 and haven't had a drop of alcohol since then.

Domestic violence is either escalated or more likely to happen when one or more of the people involved edit: IS under the influence.

Child abuse, more likely to happen when alcohol is largely present in the house.

Drinking and driving, if you're not responsible enough to hand over your keys, don't even fucking drink.

I have no sympathy for the people who do it, none whatsoever. Call me straight-edge if you'd like, but I think alcohol is pure fucking evil.

No need to preach to me, I agree. I'm not a big fan of alcohol myself. I drink maybe once a week, but thats in the safe confines of my house, with my wife.

Most of the general population has driven drunk at some point though, shit, I'm sure some of the members of this board did it last night even. Thats the only point I was trying to make. :thumb:

Like I said, if you have the maturity level and lack of responsbility to drive drunk, you might as well load a gun and start firing random shots and hope you miss, because they're both the same in my mind.

If one of my friends ever drove drunk knowing they could always call me or a taxi or even the cops, I'd smack them upside the head and hope they get what they deserve, even if it's just a harmless lesson...

I guess I am making it sound like everyone does it, but at no point did I ever say its a smart choice to make. I personally have no pity for drunk drivers. That goes for my cousin too, who has spent the last 5 years of his life behind bars for vehicular homicide........the end result of drinking and driving.

In my personal opinion alcohol just brings out the worst in people, at least binge-drinking does. Sipping a glass of wine with your wife over a meal or while relaxing is a different story. Just seems like people my age think alcohol is the greatest thing ever invented.

I'd rather put that $50/week into my EG a-thank-you :wink:

- Sun Nov 18, 2007 11:24 pm #30418 i agree with mike that most of us have driven under some substance at some point. no its not smart i personally have done it more then once and i no its stupid, if i were to have crashed or anything i would have no pity for myself let alone another person for doing it. think before you do it it could be your last time driving if your not lucky. dui is taken very seriously and most people get harsh punishments and i agree with it fully.

personally iv driving home drunk many times, but im just too cautious...

so you can't really say its like loading a gun and firing it....

no doubt its stupid, but i don't think you should over doit by saying its 100% death......

FALSE!!!! Alcohol impares your judgement and reaction time, doesnt matter who you are. Just because you "think" that you're okay, you're really not.

im PERFECTLY aware when im driving while buzzed.. i make sure to keep my self cautious every second.. u see theres idiots that say ''fuck it'' i just wanna get home

then theres people that say

''aiite i gatta fuckin focus cuz im drunk and this shits stupid''

both in my mind are stupid and immature and everything. cuz there is other ways of getting home. but anyways yea just thought id put this up here.. cuz it defiently was a big mistake of his.. :thumbdown:
