b16 throttle body ona z6?

- Wed Apr 29, 2009 7:39 pm #113939 ok so i got a b16a throttle body off my last motor and want to put that on my d16z6 motor... the motor has intake headers and full exhaust with a adj. cam gear...nothin major plannin on going turbo in rhe next month. but i was wondring if the b16 tb will mess up anything and what tb gasket i would use...i also wanna put a y8 intake mani as i heard they are by far the best ones... what do you think let me know :)

- Wed Apr 29, 2009 7:51 pm #113942 you should use the b16a's tb gasket and i think you would need to port the intake to match since if not it will run bad....but once you do it i remember i had a b18b1 tb on my z6 and it ran good in top end but bottom end suffered a bit....
