#144219 my buddy is building his b16 and has the pistons he took out
i was told if i put them in my GSR it would be a beast .
noticeable power
higher compression
i like all motor so my question is , anyone have expierience with this ?
thanks in advance

#144227 I really don't think it would make that much of a difference. Stock GSR with B16 pistons would not be a beast. Would raise your compression from like a 10 to an 11.

#144341 It would indeed raise the compression up from 10:1 to 11.3:1. Add a thinner head gasket, like a spoon. mugen or toda and you will have a nice 11.5:1 CR. You will notice the difference, but you will also need to get it tuned to be able to harness the extra CR.

#144363 which B16 pistons are you going to get? theres PR3 and P30 (JDM b16)

pR3 would get you to 11:3 and teh P30 would get you 11:5 area

#145063 they are jdm b16 pistons

#147560 With the JDM ones, just use a stock HG. 11.5:1 is a nice safe CR for daily and spirited driving. Easier to tune on as well.

it is a step in the right direction. The B16a pistons have a better shape to them than the B18c pistons. Cheap and easy way to bump compression and still have oem parts.

#147571 i agree
i've heard and seen good things
i was able to drive an identical car to mine with the b16 pistons and its def. diffrent.
thanks greasedmonkey
