Look what WW2 memorabilia i found in my grandmas attic

- Mon Sep 28, 2009 12:57 am #147713 ok so i love to explore and find new things and well a couple days back i stumbled upon probaly one of my grandfathers items he took from ww2 or something like that idk....all i know is when i found it i was like cool and stuff and tried to see what its worth but cant find anything......

So without further adu a WW2 german nazi helmet

well im hopeing i can sell my honda stuff so i can get some money together to last me till i either go back to school for mechanics or get a job soon here.....but yea im hoping to keep ahold of it i also think WW2 memorabilia is cool.....

KEEP that helmet ... when i was about 12yrs old my grandfather had a stoke after witch he couldnt walk,talk or even eat normaly so after that he came and lived with me and my mom i helped take care of him and stuff but it was really hard to comuncate with him he couldnt really write well either ... about a year before he died i started trying to figure out his role in WW2 but it was hard to do ... the only thin i know is that he was in the planes and he handled bombs ..,i wish i had tried sooner. keep the helmet your grandpa probly had a good reason for keeping it

Thanks man i was trying to figure out what it was....

And thanks to all most likely i will keep it i was somewhat thinking against it because if i displayed it in my home once i get one didnt want to well offened anyone when they walked in......

but yea just typed in ww2 on ebay and of coarse ww2 helmet or nazi helmet it didnt come up with anything but now when i typed in ww2 it came up with german nazi helmets but none of them had the nazi symbol on the side like mine??? so im guessing the one i have is in pretty good condition for its age.....
