I think you're the first person I've heard of that wants the same things in an exhaust that I do.
1) Free Flowing
2) Relatively Quiet
3) Reasonably Sized Tip
4) Affordable
5) Doesn't sound like a fart can
6) Good Quality
No such thing exists on the market because there is no market for it. The only way I've found to satisfy all these requirements is to piece together the components and have them welded together.
My current exhaust is too loud and doesn't fit well so I plan to replace it with the following: Two 18inch long Magnaflow resonators part no. 10425. Retain my Magnaflow muffler. I have to measure it again but I believe that the longest that would fit was about 20 inches long. Then I did some further measurements and made a list of mandrel bends that I need to order. No exhaust tip. The entire exhaust is 2.25 inches ID. If it was a turbo application I'd go with 2.5 inches ID. Take all of this down to the exhaust shop and have it put together.
Magnaflow uses a straight through design and has a deep, rich tone; very un-Honda like.
