Technical Topics specific to the Hatchback body - NOT where you post pics/build specs of your car.

#168000 Hi I'am from Brazil, and I'am building an EG, DX model, and I just loved all of these pics.

Specially those of cars with mudflaps, so I decided to put it on my Civic, but its very hard to find JDM parts in here, importing is a bit expensive. For instance, a new car costs 105% more in here then in the US, and the same taxes apply to parts.

So, i was wondering if you guys could post pics where I can see the mudflaps more closely, so I can try and make me one that looks like OEM...

Thanks, guys!

#168053 do you have any junk yards there that would have civics in it? if so then just go there and grab a pair. it sucks cause I have a set sittin under my toolbox at work and I am gonna throw them away cause I have no use for them, but shipping would probably be crazy to send cause they are kinda big and bulky.

#168083 Might be a decent price if you were to give them to him and only charged him shipping...

I think it wouldn't cost much to ship it here. But I've already found a kit that looks a bit like the OEM, altough not as beautiful. As soon as I find my camera I'll post some pics of how it looks.

Man, she was beutiful!!! Those red bucket seats just look fantastic on the gray car. Too sad it ended up that way.

well I guess that old european cars are not often seen in Canada and US nowadays. Here in Bulgaria, you can find lots of them. As whitedxi said - custrom streched - or what I think is done is cut out and reversed ( separated the center part with the holes from the main part where the tire lays and then welded from the opposite side. )

Chris is right, the guy used the center and put it on wider wheels. A friend of mine did it on his Beetle. But his rims are far from looking as cool as that.
