#168756 well i might suggest....
one bleedingyour coolant this may help but its mainly for idle purposes

two swtich the throttle body with another one or test the resistance of the throttle position sensor. that also could be possibly bad or giving the ecuthe wrongsignal...

#168785 try swapping the plugs on the iacv with the intake temp
thats what caused the problem with my motor
or try switching the plugs on the map sensor and tps
hope this helps

#169133 changing the iacv and intake temp connectors doesn't FIX the problem. Unplug the iacv does the same thing. still has a little idle issue just not as noticeable. try that out and let me know. my car has been doing the same exact thing. just unplug it until you find the problem instead of covering it up. it will mess with the reading for your temp sensor.

#169160 if they are hooked up right and he changes it the idle will go away. i checked my wiring diagrams and mine are hooked up correctly while the idle jumps. switch them and it goes away but doesn't truly fix the problem.

#169163 yes. a friend told me who works on civics that he doesn't believe the iacv is the problem. he said usually the get stuck open or closed. there is probably a short somewhere in the wiring in mine. but don't really know.

#169166 if you have a utility meter you can check the ohms its supossed to be like 500 i think not sure if u have a book it will tell you
also start checking vacum lines even tho theres only like three its still a possibilty also
on my autoeg8 i had to swap springs on the tb bc it wasnt shutting all the way
