Well im stuck now with a b18a1 block in good condition and a head that has stuff missing Jdm_Freak was suppose to drop by and buy the bottom end off me but i havent gotten ahold of him and he seems to have read my messages.....so i guess beware of him so to speak....
anyhow
Im at crossroads here do i break down teh b18a1 and sell the block off to someone, and keep the parts as spares or do i sell the whole shebang....or do i keep the rods and build a z6 turbo lol
since right now this is going to be vague btu this is what i have major parts only i have alternators ect.....
B series stuff
-whole ls swap needs timing belt water pump and clutch kit
-b18a1 bottom end complete
-b18a1 head partially complete
d series stuff
Full z6 swap with a rod knock also has lightweight flywheel.....
spare z6 block
z6 head studs arp
spare z6 head dissassembled
spare z6 dizzy with new wires
spare p28 ecu
i will be getting shortly a d15b2 bottom end with a rod knock doing a favor for a friend and swapping motors helping him etc and im getting money and i get to keep the block for either scrap or project
spare Z6 ex 5spd trans with shift linkage
2 spare flywheels for the z6
spare z6 oil pan
sparee d16 oil pan from i think a d16a1 and a d15b2 oil pan
etc...
so i dont know really i have all this stuff for the d series but people tell me to go ahead and go bseries etc. was hopeing i would of sold this block to Jdm_Freak to get my money back from it....but yea looks like im out cash i have a job starting up shortly so what are your thoughts on this.....
I have a buddy who can build me a stand alone setup for 300 and help me set it up and tune it if i ever went turbo but yea i dont know
mainly im just concerned with price, parts availability since d series parts are everywhere and b series well you have to have the cash then there everywhere....
also i want a good weight distribution and power output for auto cross and yea im just up in the air yet again due to recent events.....so need your help in figureing what to do i mean yea itd be nice to have a b series since everyone around me swears by them but i just dont know them as well as i do the d series......
