#186893 Yes you do

what it does is the gas fumes from the tank get drawn in the canister, and the purge solenoid take the fumes and reinters it into the motor

you will lose gas mileage if you take it off, and if you live where you have to smog your car you will FAIL the visual and the actual smog test, you will have high HC reading

Also you'll smell gas fumes inside your car sometimes.

#186996 Fumes = CO = brain damage and/or carbon monoxide poisoning. When CO enters your bloodstream, it never leaves until the actual blood cells carrying the CO die. As long as your blood cells are carrying CO they can't carry oxygen. The only other way to get CO out of your blood is to live under an oxygen tent for several months.

I never understood why someone would think of removing stuff from the engine bay. If you want your engine bay to look like a 1950's Chevy, maybe Honda isn't for you.

#187023 So I went to the auto parts store and bought a breather and a small to large pvc connector... so that way I will still run the evap.. but instead of running it to the cruze controll its running to the lil breather...

I am also not a fan of shaved bays.

Good info on the Carbon Monoxide.

#187072 indeed shaved bays  i like being able to get to things and make sure things are working properly and you really cant do that when the parts you need to get to are all underneath your dash and other things.....i build if i was a race mechanic / driver making things easier to get to =fun for everyone....

I'm not going for that look dude... the reason y I took it out is cus I no longer need it/ use it...so its useless in my engine bay... I changed out my steering wheel... meaning I can no longer activate the cruzecontroll... and sooooo what if I take stuff out of my bay!!! Its my car!!! Worry bout ur shit and ill worry bout mine... ill refund u all ur money that you've Invested on my car when that day comes... till then shut up and voice ur opinion somewhere else...
