#19673 Could be that then? Its a kinda change it and see game!! The way to look at it is once you change something for new then it wont need replacing within your life time? And once you change things for new bits it def eliminates that thing out! 6 and half a dozen. :roll:

but yeah now the car will go up to 6000

im going to change the fuel filter and see what that does

also the Catalytic Converter may be clogged???

also what about a fuel pump getting weak(or does it flow the same even at idle as it does at 7k?)

#19768 Have you checked to see if ur vtec solenoid is working still? if it revs to 6000 do you hear the vtec kick in? it should kick in between 5500 and 5800 rpm's. if it doesnt that might be it?

friday im going to have the timing belt done

replace the dizzy
and replace the VTEC solenoid
fuel filter will also be replaced

idk what the deal is w/ this thing

thanks man i picked the car up for 3k from a 56 year old lady and i didnt think i would have this much trouble trying to take the car where it probably has never been (im talking about REDLINE)

nothing at all :cry:

maybe a clogged catalytic converter
