how do I know which one I have? It is from a 94 Integra.

how do I know if it is Obd1 or 2?

I believe my engine problems are due to the wire harness adapter and ecu.

Does anyone know what I need to ensure this conversion is correct.

Also does anyone know why my ecu adapter says " for off road use only "?

but B18a=obd0 all the time

b18b=obd1/2 must check numbers on the head for the casting years etc....but practically the same easy way to tell is if it was a full swap as in one car there will be a barcode sticker=obd1 or holes for a plate like a vin tag or a vin tag (some either are taken off or something like that) =obd2 this will tell you what trans you have any more than likely what motor obd you have but yea the obd1/2's are practically the same and the one main difference is the valve cover but those can be changed so not a good thing to look at....ribbed=obd1 flat=obd2

and to locate the b18a/b etc look at the edge of the engine block near the transmission there should be a block flat and stamped with your engine code about halfway down...

And 94-95 B18Bs are OBD1, while 96-01 B18Bs are OBD2.

You need to work on those searching skills!

Pre 92 is OBD0. 92-95 is OBD1. 96+ is OBD2. This is true of all cars, even though it breaks through generations of some vehicles while it coincides with others. It coincides with the Civic but it breaks through on the Del Sol, Accord, and Integra as well as most others.

"Off Road Use Only" is their disclaimer to prevent them from getting sued for selling parts that are emissions illegal in some states.
