Driving takes 3 abilities: Accelerating+braking+turning. More power only helps acceleration. Lower weight helps all 3

- Mon Aug 23, 2010 1:34 pm #210152 A bare aluminum block will dissipate heat slightly better, but painting is not going to affect performance at all. Be sure that the block is spotless before painting, as if it was just hot tanked & degreased

- Mon Aug 23, 2010 2:48 pm #210154 Paint it. I find it a lot more eazy to whip the grease off an keep it clean after painting it. I hate the oil stains so i painted mine.
