if i can run it without it how do i hook up the coil????

- Wed Sep 01, 2010 3:27 am #211576 no you do not need an ignition box. you take the stock cap off and pull the coil out then wire the MSD coil in and run the wires somewhere in the engine bay and mount the coilpack. all there is too it

- Wed Sep 01, 2010 3:30 am #211577 Yes you can do that with an external coil such as the blaster2, but I would put the money elsewhere. Unless you need to replace defective oem parts, keep your stock ignition. It's good enough for most street driven cars.
