The EKs have a thinner LCA. The forks on the rear will not fit over the LCA from the teg or 5th gen civic.

The washer trick is for putting the EG/DC parts on the EK.

#25714 omnipower also sells just the lower collar seperately if you email them. I think its around 75bucks.. so you can just order the rear collars for a DC.
