a new spray job is always a great step forward.

- Thu Jun 09, 2011 7:01 pm #258810 I got the my hatch back from the paint shop n i am very pissed off! The guy did a shitty job on it. There is still spots in the engine bay where he didn't even paint (behind the brake lines n fuel lines) n he painted my tranny, got over spray on my radiator n my wheels n tires where not masked off during the process of him painting it. He told me he had a paint booth turns out he doesn't. There r dust particles all in the clear, the hood has massive orange peel. The bumpers u can still see black paint through the white, 2 small runs. The hood doesn't close right. I call the dude n I let him know wats up n he says bring it back n we'll fix it but not for free!!! So i'm gonna have a long talk with him n worse case scenario im taking him 2 the small claims court n then calling the local news station 2 let everybody know. Sorry 4 the long story. N my hatch will get resprayed n painted the right way at a different, reliable shop. On the good side my friend n I installed the new cam cap on n if all goes well it should b running this weekend. Here r the pics.

i know if you dont do youself you never dont have a perfect finaly job with my car was the same history. if you dont show your finger what and how he must do this, never it will be made perfect :/

i know if you dont do youself you never dont have a perfect finaly job with my car was the same history. if you dont show your finger what and how he must do this, never it will be made perfect :/

Even though he's fixing it for free, idk if i want him 2 fix it. I rather take it somewhere else n have him give me some cash back.

I decided not 2 take it back. I'm gonna try 2 get money back i doubt he's gonna want 2 give money back but worth a shot.
