- Tue Jun 21, 2011 9:52 pm #260272 i just bought a 92 DX. am putting in a new clutch an throw out bearing soon. but i was thinking since the transmission was out i would replace some parts to prevent future problems. Any ideas on what i should replace?

- Tue Jun 21, 2011 10:28 pm #260276 does it grind into any gears? if not, just do a fluid change. if so, just find another D series tranny. preferably a ex/si which would make your car quicker, if the current is the stock DX trans

Preventative maintenance.. !!! is a good thing!!

If you want change the fluid would be good to do and replace the axle seals on the trans drain plug get a new crush washer!!!!

.. internally if nothing is wrong when shifting leave it as is..
