- Wed Aug 10, 2011 2:45 pm #266982 Well damn, its been a while since I've been on here. Just got the trans painted and the wiring harness complete. Once I clean and paint the block it is time for everything to go back together and fire her up. I also finished chipping my ecu. PIcs tonight :thumb:

Anyway, the car hasnt been touched too much. Did some more cleaning and im ready to get the block painted. Ill snap some pics tomorrow after football practice.:thumb:

As for the harness, I didn't really want to "tuck" it. Its a daily driver and having a tucked harness isn't very practical to me. But it is definitely resleeved and looks a lot better than it did before.

- Tue Oct 18, 2011 3:53 am #278142 Did some major work today. And almost got her ready to hit the road. Few things left to do:
-Exhaust manifold gasket
-Finish Ecu
-Fix Subframe Bolt/Nut
-INstall Battery
-Put in Antifreeze
-Put sideskirts on
-A good wash

So once those five things are done. She'll be back on the road running smooth I hope :woot:

You've been through a lot with the car, but it hasnt stopped you not one bit. You painted both your sets of rims with what kind of paint and how is the paint holding up? Also what did you use to paint the tranny? Sorry for all the questions, but anyway nice build and its coming along very nicely

Thanks a lot. Yeah, the car has been through hell but one day shell be very clean. The Green ones were dupli-color engine enamel. The White is rustoleum gloss white from a can. Both are holding up great. The rustoleum is definitely my favorite. As for the block and trans, it is dupli color high temp flat aluminum. Has held up fine thus far. But thanks for the compliments :thumb:
