#272711 Could be the ICM in the distributor. Other known possibilities are either the ECU or guage cluster.

#272781 Have the same issue replaced all the stuff that they have listed already ended up being the map sensor on the throttle body. This was the case in my friends 95 ex coupe and a 94 ex 4dr. if it is not reading right it will cut the red line down cause it does not know how much fuel to run.

#272784 cheers EJ1_MK so should i replace the the sensor?

test it, as well as testing the ICM to double check that they are okay first. Throwing parts at a problem before you find out what is exactly wrong can get expensive and frustrating. There are how-tos on testing these on this site as well as the web. Google is your friend.

#272945 I would I did mine and it turned out to be bad and then we tested the new one and it was dead on and now it runs all the way to red line again. Always test if you can.
