- Sat Oct 08, 2011 3:01 am #276736 No point in getting a new longblock. That would just be a waste of a perfectly good head and block casing. Just get new bearings and all of the machine work done. Balancing the crank etc.

- Tue Oct 11, 2011 12:53 am #277129 If that's a single v take off the v sylininode when u take it off u will c a meatel filter on it check if there is meatel and brass shaving if there is then yup bottom when out........and I say get onother block idk how much they r around ur area but out here in Mia ther r 90 at the junkyards Iv gotten a few motors built and they just don't last I give it 6 months if u drive hard

- Thu Oct 13, 2011 3:22 am #277527 So It turns out that my alternator was loose and banging around :facepalm: tightened it and now everthing is great i took my oil pan off jst in case and yea i dodged a bullettt :thumb:
