- Tue Dec 27, 2011 3:58 am #287157 I have d15b 3 stage vtec engine that I purchased from a mechanic. I also got a p2j-j62 ecu with engine harness that I also bought from another guy. I presently have an Eg8 vti with a d15b vtec. Will my harness from my dash be compatible. Is there anything that will not work. Does any one know where I can get a pin out for the P2J-J62 ECU I will really appreciate it.

and also the p2j ecu is obd2 as is the d15b with 3stage so you will need a jumper harness but anyhow check out the link

- Thu Dec 29, 2011 2:10 am #287432 As stated, you will need convert to OBD2 and then add wires for EGR and VTEC2. Your ECU will need to match the transmission type. If it's auto then I believe you will need to get a CVT and make a custom mount.

I can't go into any great detail because this isn't the swap I had. I was running a 3 stage VTEC with a JDM 5th gen manual trans and an OBD1 AEM EMS.
