flyinryan122 wrote:what turbo or turbo kit did you paln on using? and who will be tuning your car?
I'm in the process of buildin a z6 as well.
flyinryan122 wrote:nice. do you already have the stuff in mind as far as what your going to do to the block? like block gaurd or sleeve it? cpr?
I just got my block back, golden eagle sleeved+some wiseco and eagle goodies. going for a mid to high +500hp drag tune, and 300-350hp street tune. i predict many broken axles and tranny's in the future. possibly for you as well since your going for 400hp haha

Are you planning on sanding off the letters? that would be pimp
-EJ1- COUPE wrote:well my ideas were: block guard(cant afford sleeves), vitera 20mm oversized 8.5-1 forged pistons, eagle h-beam rods, arp main studs, oem honda or clevlitte bearings, and do some work to the crank like micropolishing and shit. it will be fully balanced as well. for the head i was going to do supertech valvtrain with a crower cam and some porting.

very nice. i love vitara set ups. i just need a set of arp head studs, and i'm almost done. just had the crank polished and balanced. i'm stayin with the stock valves, but i have crower springs and ti retainers, and just ordered the comp/zex 59300 cam last night. hopefully i can get to the port work this week and get it all assembeled. but i also have all oem oil pump water pump timing belt, belt tensioner, and head gasket. good luck with your build i love to hear of other people building d-series motors.
flyinryan122 wrote:very nice. i didnt know that teg axles could be used with that tranny. i think i'll look into building one of those tranny's.
