- Sat May 03, 2008 5:40 am #53627 There are a lot of topics on this forum about this already. In most cases, a larger throttle body is detrimental to performance. I saw a pretty informative thread about this over at onecamonly.com, though I cannot recommend that forum.

I think you´ve wrote somewhere that the stock TB in an All-Motor setup was the best thing wright?

- Fri May 09, 2008 12:56 am #54418 Yeah unless it's a wild N/A build. That's according to what I've read from trusted authors. In my own personal experience, I lost hp and killed driveability when I tried a B18 tb on my Z6 that only had I/H/E. Y8 intake manifold fared poorly as well.

i have heard that the y8 intake mani helped alot. i also heard the LS tb is a possible better choice than a b18 or b16
