#79615 was wondering if any other models (civic coupe/sedan or integra) mud guards would work on a hatch? or with minor modification to them, thanks for your time.

#79783 I took them off my Integra because they decrease your mpg. I also hate when you hit a puddle of water and it's like slamming on the brakes. But I guess if you off-road a lot you need them so you don't throw rocks at people...

#79812 what the hell kind of water puddles are you hitting that affects the cars speed like that?

#79852 Actually this was in San Diego. I've only lived in Salt Lake City for a year and it hasn't rained much.

You hit water and it gets caught in the wheel wells. Mud guards exacerbate the problem. You've never driven fast through water?

Or aerodynamics. Just looks.

Aerodynamics have more bearing on maximum speed than horsepower. But who cares about going fast? :?

#80429 ....really? ... I can now vouch for the water and mudflaps... it just rained here in mission viejo.... I saw a giant puddle and decided... lets test the mudflaps... Now I wouldnt say it was like braking instantly... but i did feel my civic quickly slow down forcefully kinda.. thing... O.o.. i still like my mudflaps tho :thumb:

#80455 Muds FTW, They give the wheelwells a nice finished look.

Lol, I seriously doubt that mud guards are really going to affect maximum speed an aerodynamics that much (no more than 1 mph MAX if that)... I mean we are talking about mud guards not triple decker wings or bubble nosed hood scoops etc..

I agree
