I thought the whole toybota JZ swap would kick off but that seems to have been bypassed fairly quickly in exchange for a meaty V8, especially for drifting.

BUT, being an ex-rx7 owner myself, I believe it's BLASPHEMY to put an American v8 in the place of such a beauty of an engine.

Your breed is slowly dying out, I bet in a few years there'll be more RXs with toyota / american engines in than the original 13B :P

Maybe, but I don't care. It's way nicer to see a beastly rotary than an everyday v8.
