I have access to an electric impact gun, but i'm not sure if it will do the trick. I am going to do this job on Friday since i dont work and it gets reall dark outside right now. Also my car will be up 2 feet as well with the same 2 ton jack. I'm going to have someone pressing on the break and putting the trans in reverse like you did and hopefully this will work, as well as using the PB blaster and electric impact. This B*#! is coming off... :x Thanks alot for the heads up really appreciate it.

#87380 Not a problem buddy. The electric impact should do the job no problem.
Just to give you and extra little jolt. Spray the bolt everyday with some PB just to make sure its soaked and penetrated.
You should be good to go on this. Let us know what happens.

#87383 well even my impact didnt truely do the trick for me on my Z6 id suggest using a breaker bar and extend it with a pipe or something to get more leverage and somehow make it so the crank wont move as you try n loosen it. i put in a 3/8in extension that i broke awhile back in through the hole on the crankshaft. so yea.. thats what i did but pb also helped out alot..

i used 2 different air impacts and i couldn't get it loose either
ended up using the pulley holder tool, a breaker bar, some blocks of wood, and a jackstand.
