Yesterday morning on my way to work going east on rt 224, I saw what looked like a welding cart down in the median between the eastbound & westbound divider. I forgot about it on the way home but then saw it again this morning and it's definitely a big metal welding cart! Exactly what I don't have but would like
for free
224 has 2 lanes going each direction and a big grassy median in the middle.
Tonight I'm going to stop and pick it up. I'm going home an hour late so there won't be much traffic.
I don't know if I should pull over on the right shoulder and walk/run across the lanes to go down in the median or if I should pull over on the left shoulder (ideal but isn't that illegal?)
So have you ever stopped on the highway to pick something up from the road?
Was it worth it?
