Im not much on rebuilds but if it is # 2 bearing and you said youd hit the throttle a few times thats all it could take...but from what i've seen your not the kind of person to hammer his new motor so Id go bitch at the builder. Its your money, he should fix it even if you have to buy a new bearing, he should do it for free or half cost or something. If you want I have two friends that have helped me in negotiations...Smith&Wesson. I can have them help you too
