i kno on mine they match up....but im tryin to figure out y im gettin the crank sensor check light...car was drivin fine then one day went out the blue went into limp mode....ive posted a few times on here and so far i we narrowed it dow to the distributor,wiring harness itself or the ecu

d16z6, d16z1, jdm b15b all have the same bolt pattern.
D15b7, d16y7, d16y8 all have the same bolt pattern.
OBD2 and obd1 have different plugs.
The d16y5 is different from all other distributors because of extra electronics on the inside.
So no yours will not bolt up to each other's heads properly, but they will plug in to the harness okay.

What he is trying to say was the flux compacitor & the additional ionic neutron copacitors make it different from all the others....

What about the VX distributer to the D16z6??

to answer the original question, the z6 distributor will 'fit' a b7 head but you will never be able to set the ignition timing because the mounting bolt holes don't allow it to rotate far enough.
