#179629 got a quick question. im buildin an ls vtec and waas wonderin if with a gsr head and pct type-r pistons (b16b pistons) would compression be too high to run 93 octane. zealautowerks says it will be at 14.35:1 but i really dont think it will be that high. if anyone can tell me please do thanks

x2 supposedly compression is un affective after 15to1, maybe before that in a honda because of the dome on the piston disrupting the flame travel....

#184250 That motor build has long since been killed. Sold the block, pistons and rods. I just have a stock D15b, and a stock B20z now.
