- Tue Mar 03, 2009 4:05 am #100070 For all you torrent getting peoples, TPB is down. Might be for good. Today they went to court for a bunch of bullcrap and seems like the site got yanked. i ve got a lot of good torrents from that place. i hope they arent gone for good.

As of Monday March 2nd 2009 the main site has been down. This is likely due to a court injunction against the site, which may or may not outlast the current trial.

And the whole court thing (final day today) is just a waste of tax payers money. I´d be surprised if the get convicted.
The people from TPB are way to smart and the prosecutor said that he doesn´t understand the technology behind the tracker.

Yesterday, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg (the one who built the tracker) called the prosecutor "old fucker" (but in swedish of course) since he only wanted them to go to jail for about 1 year. Gottfrid thought that it´s a waste of time with this trial if the penalty is only a year in prison

It is very exciting anyhow

-plus private trackers > TPB. (majority of the time)

and demonoid doesn't count. They have people charged for uploading to demonoid as well.

ISOhunt.com is good too, or try bushtorrent.com
