my current daily driver is a 92 4dr with the D15B7 that uses more than its share of oil, it seems to need a litre of oil everytime i fill up the gas tank. i am broke and need to fix the oil usage issue and have a D15Z1 im removing from my retired 92 VX that used 1 litre of oil in 4000km(2400miles). I had a weird idea wondering if I could put normal non vtech valve train into the D15Z1 head so i can replace the smoky D15B7 without changing the ecu or doing any wiring. at some point i want to convert the 4dr to run the Z1 properly as i miss the consistant 40mpg(now im at a lowly 33mpg if im lucky) but that means wiring that I dont have time for currently with only one vehicle on the road.
