if thats the case then thats ghey!!!!!


i thought you could have both cuz i knew holly did the inner brake light crap and then i see her with the fog light so i was like kewl you can have both

- Wed Apr 15, 2009 6:40 pm #110836 The USDM tail lights light up all the way across when the lights are on. If I'm correct the EDM tail lights only light up on the outside lights. The fog light will just make the light on the drivers side brighter..you can have both fog light and the brake light still. Just gotta do some wiring

Anyways either way the fog light is basically the same as a stock USDM tail light. Its just a different reflection inside from what I can see. I seen ppl use a stock tail light and make it into a fog but im not sure how they did it. I had a hard time wiring it up at first for mine but Niels "ee8" on the forum gave me a diagram that helped me

This is how I did it anyway.

You basically wire it to the park lights its a red and white wire under the dash use the wires from your switch. Then there is two wires that come from the switch that go to ground and two more wires that run to your dimmer switch. From the relay that you will need to install, the red and white wire that your adding is going to run into the same park light wire. From the rear fog you run it into the relay, one of the wires from the relay is a ground.

Its kinda hard to explain but its pretty simple once its all said an done.

Here is a picture of mine, you can see the difference in the inner tail. It has a separate reflector

and other question is.... you still have the inner brake lights dont you?

i want to be able to keep both! and if thy are the same housings then i will prolly just use my stock tails then!

i mean why buy parts that arent needed

your inner lights will go away, you will get only on the left side the fog, and on the right side, you can not have a bulb.

so when you place EDM/JDM tails, you only use the outer lights ;)
