was just wondering how hard it was to change the core support,is it bolt on or welded,i dont feel like taking everything off to check right now,mine is crunched and twisted ,and now my hood sticks out about an inch and wont latch all the way, thanks,i need to no what to ask for at the junk yard

its a weld on peice its not hard to change out. if you know how to weld

Do you have any more/closer pictures to post up? What size drill bit did you use and size bolts and nut, or whatever you used to put the replacement support on? How sturdy is the support now?
Sorry for the questions, but I'm in the same situation now.

Everything still lined up. There are 2 bolts on each side around the headlights and corner lights where the core support meet ( if i remember right ). There are also 4 bolts, 2 on each side of the bumper reinforcement that bolt that to the core support that bolt into the frame. I do not remember what size drill i used but just make sure the drill is slightly larger than the spot weld. Obviously welding it in place would be stronger but just bolting it in was fine for me.
