hey guys..... i did not know where to post this but i am looking to paint my valve cover. so is there some type of a high heat paint. i am looking to spray it the right way not rattle can it. should i just put like 5 coats on it or is there some type of paint??????

i use high temp engine anamel from autozone. its gonna come in a can. and ya you can use regular auto paint to. the valve cover never gets that hot. most paint i think is rated at like 140degrees. the engine anamel works really got. sticks to dirt. just a quick wash of your valve cover let it dry and put on as many coats as you want. think of it this way. painting your valve cover is like painting any other part on your car.
